Checklist for school-aged PT

Your child could benefit from physical therapy intervention if:

  • they fall frequently
  • they have difficulty learning new motor tasks
  • they are hesitant around play structures, especially with other children around
  • they have difficulty catching or throwing a ball
  • they are excessively fatigued after motor activities
  • they lean on people or objects for support
  • they have a hard time sitting still for an activity
  • they are unable to keep up with their peers on the playground
